Biographical History

William Wood Kane (1898-1962) was a music teacher in Florida.

William Wood Kane was born on May 7, 1898 in Pennsylvania to Evan O'Neill Kane and Lila Rupert. He studied music at the University of Pennsylvania, and served in the Army during the First World War. In 1922 he married Cecelia Dolores Bonawitz (1900-1992). He taught music in Philadelphia, and later moved to Daytona Beach, Florida. Kane died on June 4, 1962 in Volusia County, Florida.
