Materials include history and articles regarding Clarence Jefferson Jack's service in the U.S. Army during World War II. Tells how he was one of eight men who parachuted into occupied France to set up communications before the invasion at Normandy on D-Day, and was taken as a prisoner of war on D-Day (June 6, 1944) and held for ten months. Relates his experiences during his time in a prisoner of war camp in Germany during the final year of World War II. A newspaper article included also shares these stories. Dated 1943-1945, 1998-2000.
