It also contains photographs of her in the ground of the Altadena, California home, her daughter, Michele, and grandchild dating from 1920 to 1980.

Biographical History

Betty Zane Grey Grosso (1912-2007) was the only daughter of Zane and Lina Elise Grey.

Elizabeth Zane Grey was born on April 22, 1912 in New York. She married photographer Robert W. (Bob) Carney in 1930. They accompanied Zane Grey on various expeditions, including to Idaho, Fiji, and Tahiti. They had two children together, Michele Zane and Carol Joan, before divorcing in 1939. She later married George D. Grosso on March 16, 1951 in Los Angeles, California. They too later divorced in April 1973.

Betty Zane Grey Grosso died on January 6, 2007 in Sonoma California.
