Biographical History

From the Collection:

Lloyd K. Lewis entered the United States Air Force on December 7, 1942. Started service as an operator mechanic #756 and later was reclassified as a radio mechanic #754 after requesting a change. First to be sent home from his squadron, April 22, 1944, because he had a wife and child. The photograph album in this collection was presented to Lewis as a going away present.
