Biographical History

Lorenzo Walker (1870-1912) was a farmer and real estate agent in Salt Lake County, Utah. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Germany between 1901 and 1903.

Photocopy of a handwritten patriarchal blessing. The item was given to William Walker's son, Lorenzo Walker, on 4 Aug. 1898. William assures his son that he will gain salvation by serving righteousness. He also tells Lorenzo that "the waves of the sea shall obey your command, and no ship shall be lost on which you may embark."
