Collection contains nine spiral bound typescript volumes or Francis Asbury Hammond's Mormon missionary journals. The journals chronicle his first and second missions to the Sandwich (Hawaiian) Islands from 1852-57 and 1864-65. Typescripts were prepared in 2005 by John J Hammond of Kent State University.
