Diary and autobiography. The autobiography has a number of missing sections but basically covers the time his ancestors joined the Mormon Church to 1917 when he began his diary. The journal covers the years 1917-1936. Cummings served as Superintendent of Church schools for the Mormon Church and travelled widely on that and other assignments.
