Biography

Ellen Julian Barratt was born on March 18, 1836 in Shelford, England. She married Thomas Barratt on May 19, 1855 and together they migrated to Utah with the Richard Ballantyne Company that same year. They settled in American Fork, Utah and had thirteen children. She died on April 14, 1930 in American Fork, Utah.

Thomas was born in England in 1830, and he married Mary Morgan Whitby in 1849. He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1850 and migrated to St. Louis, Missouri, in 1854. His wife died there. He married Ellen Julian in 1855, and they migrated to Utah in the same year. They settled in American Fork, Utah, and had 13 children. He died in...
