Biography

Hannah Daphne Smith Dalton (1857-1937) was a latter-day saint.

Hannah Daphne Smith Dalton was born on March 22, 1857 to Jesse Nathaniel Smith Jr. and Emma Seraphine West in Parowan, Iron, Utah Territory. Jesse was a first cousin to the prophet Joseph Smith. Hannah was married to John Cranmer Dalton on May 1, 1876 in Salt Lake City, Utah Territory. Her brother was Don McCarroll Dalton, who was a mission president of the South African mission. She died on May 10, 1937 in Salt Lake City.
