Nov. 10, 1856 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Eliza Catherine Kent, three children; called to serve mission to Sandwich Islands, 1857; participated in Echo Canyon expedition, 1857-1858; called on mission to England, 1864; died on return at Rock Creek, Wyo., Aug. 4, 1867)
