Letter to Jacob G. Bigler
Handwritten letter, written to J. G. Bigler and his wife, and dated 7 June 1894. The item was unsigned but was written by one of Bigler's children living in Mesa, Arizona. The child congradulates its parents on their 50th wedding anniversary.
Jacob G. Bigler autobiography
Photocopy of a typescript of an autobiography. Bigler writes about his relationship with the first president of the Mormon Church, Joseph Smith (1805-1844), his life in Nauvoo, Illinois, his migration to Utah, and his life in Nephi, Utah. Bigler served on a mission for the Mormon Church in Ireland and was active in Mormon Church activities in Nephi.
Jacob G. Bigler diaries and correspondence
Photocopy of a microfilm copy of handwritten diaries and correspondence. Bigler was a bishop for the Mormon Church in Nephi, Utah. He also served as a member of the Utah territorial legislature and was mayor of Nephi. Bigler served as a Mormon missionary to Ireland and as president of the European Mission for that same faith. The collection also includes correspondence between Bigler and family members mostly when he served as a missionary in Ireland.

George A. Black certificate
Printed and handwritten certificate dated 8 Jan. 1875. Black affirms that Jacob G. Bigler was elected to the council for Juab and Millard Counties for Utah.
Edward Hunter letter
Handwritten and signed letter, dated December 5, 1873, written in Salt Lake City, Utah, and addressed to J. G. Bigler. Hunter writes concerning problems with Bigler's accounts with the general tithing store of the Mormon Church because several persons handled them.
Jacob G. Bigler land title
Handwritten and signed land title dated 25 June 1870. Bigler affirms that W. A. Garrett owns a plot of land in Nephi, Utah. The item is signed by Bigler and Samuel Pitchforth.
Amos Reed letter
Handwritten and signed letter, dated 1864, written in Salt Lake City, Utah, and addressed to "all who shall see these presents." Reed affirms that Jacob G. Bigler has been elected probate judge in Juab County, Utah.
Emmeline B. Wells letter
Handwritten and signed letter dated June 15, 1904. Wells congratulates Jacob G. Bigler and his wife on their sixtieth wedding anniversary.
