Biography

Kathleen H. Hughes (born 1944) was a first counselor in the general Relief Society presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 2002 to 2007.

Kathleen H. Hughes was born and raised in Tooele, Utah. She received a bachelor's degree in English education from Weber State College. Afterward, she moved to Missouri and went on to get a master's degree in special education from Central Missouri State University. She served in various callings within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life, including her service as first counselor in the general Relief Society presidency from 2002 to 2007.
