Biographical History

Frank Aldridge (1895-1972) was a Canadian serviceman who served during World War I.

Frank Aldridge was born on March 21st, 1895 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada and baptized on July 2nd, 1922. From 1917 to 1919, he served in the military as part of the Medical Corp, performing first aid at the front during WWI. After the war, he married Lily Emily Meakin on December 17th, 1920 and had two children.

Lily Meakin died in 1924 and Frank Aldridge remarried to Bessie Oneta Archibald on November 5th, 1925, eventually having 3 children. Frank Aldridge died on September 25, 1972 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada.

The history begins with Frank Aldridge's great-grandfather, Joseph Aldridge, relates the involvement of the Aldrideg family in the early history of the Mormon Church, and ends shortly after Frank's retirement in 1965. Aldridge also tells of his experiences in World War I.
