Biography

Kieth Merrill (b. 1940) is an American filmmaker.

Merrill was born on May 22, 1940 in Farmington, Utah. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1967. He won an Academy Award for his documentary, "The Great American Cowboy," in 1973. He also produced/directed "Mr. Kruger's Christmas," "The Testaments," "Legacy," and various other films and documentaries. He and his wife reside in California and have eight children.
