Dean Jagger (1903-1991) was an American actor.

Dean Jagger (1903-1991) was an American actor. He is considered a successful character actor, earning the 1949 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Twelve O'Clock High. He is perhaps best known for portraying Brigham Young in the 1940 film of that name. In 1972, 32 years later, he was baptized into the LDS church.
