Biographical History

Susan L. Fales (1943- ) was an assistant university librarian at the Harold B. Lee Library.

Susan Fales was born October 31, 1943 in Springfield, Massachusetts. She received a master's of library science from Brigham Young University in 1973, then began working at the Harold B. Lee Library in 1974, holding a variety of positions: cataloger, documents librarian, history subject specialist, and chairwoman of the library's history and religion department. She also served as a member of the board of the board of editors for the Journal of Mormon History and served as the executive secretary of the Mormon History Association. In 1993, she was named assistant university librarian for collection development and public services. She retired in 2008 and currently resides in Provo, Utah.
