Biographical History

Boyd Petersen (b. 1962) is a college professor in Utah.

Boyd Jay Petersen was born February 23, 1962 in Provo, Utah. In 1980, he served a mission to Paris, France, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1984, he married Zina Nibley. Together they had four children. Boyd Petersen has worked at Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University as a lecturer, and as the president of the Association for Mormon Letters, and the book review editor for the Journal of Mormon History.
