This subseries consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence, including postcards, of Dorothy Rhoads with family members and close friends. An extensive amount of correspondence is between Dorothy and her sister, Frances. The bulk of the correspondence is from 1915 to 1955, after Dorothy went to college and later after Frances got married and moved.
