An extensive amount of correspondence is between Dorothy and her sister, Frances. The bulk of the correspondence is from 1915 to 1955, after Dorothy went to college and later after Frances got married and moved. Scope and Contents This subseries includes personal papers and items that were used and maintained by Dorothy Rhoads. Papers include financial records, catalogs and magazines, address books and calendars, childhood writings and papers, Rock Island phonebooks, college catalogs and information, and other personal items. The majority of the subseries is financial records, which consist of income tax files, bank records and checks, and other financial papers.
