Howard Hunt Carter (1919-2012) served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

Howard Hunt Carter was born on May 11, 1919 in St. George, Utah. He served a mission in the Northern States and Southern Canada. When he returned from his mission, he met and married Fern Chadburn. They had their first child, Lloyd, before he left to serve in the war. He served on various bases throughout the country and in Pacific islands. When he returned home, he worked in the land title business to support their growing family of seven children. He and his wife served a mission in South Dakota and another at the Los Angeles Temple Visitors Center. He passed away on January 8, 2012.
