George Elwin Golding (1923-1998) was a United States Army Air Corp cadet during WWII.

George Elwin Golding was born May 23, 1923 in Price, Utah. He trained as an U.S. Army Air Corp cadet in Santa Ana, California, and later served in the Pacific theater during WWII. He flew as the navigator for 36 missions bombing Japan. He later received the Distinguished Flying Cross. He married Catherine Frances Lamb on October 3, 1944. Together they had seven sons and one daughter. George graduated from the University of Utah in Civil Engineering and worked as a mine engineer. After his first wife, Catherine, passed away, he married Jerry Piggott, and together they served a mission to Virginia for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. George died on June 5, 1998.
