Biographical History

Wesley C. Carter (1917-1995) was a general contractor who directed the construction of chapels for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Wesley Carol Carter was born on December 25, 1917 in Eureka, Utah, to Edward Furlsbury and Annie Blake Carter. He married Mary Hall on October 16, 1940, and they had five children together. He was contracted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to build and remodel chapels in Utah. He went on to serve a building mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the British Isles from 1960 to 1963, and directed the building missionary program in the Southern States mission until 1965. Wesley Carol Carter passed away on April 3, 1995 in the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center located in Provo, Utah.
