Biography

George Willard Bingham (1940- ) is an auto adjuster and manager at State Farm Insurance, and an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

George Willard Bingham was born on March 29th, 1940 in Nyssa, Oregon to parents Oles May Saunders and Joseph Harvey Bingham. After growing up in Twin Falls, Idaho, he went on to marry Carma Crane on June 30, 1960. He attended BYU from 1958-1963, when he was drafted into the United States Army and trained to be a medic and physical reconditioning specialist. After being honorably discharged in 1965, he went on to work as an auto adjuster for State Farm Insurance for 15 years, then in a managerial position for 18 years. He retired in 2001. George Willard Bingham was heavily involved in the Boy Scouts of America program, serving as a Scoutmaster for 13 years and in several district and council positions. He was highly active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and held several callings including bishop, single's branch president, and district second counselor.
