Biographical History

Mina Orton Davey (1850-1939) was a long-time resident of Eureka, Utah.

Born Jemina Jane Orton on February 10, 1850 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Horatio L. Ortan and Nancy Bailey, Davey crossed crossed the plains with her family as a little girl. They eventually settled in Eureka, Utah in 1880, where Davey would live until her death. In around 1892, she married John Davey. She died on February 13, 1939 at the age of 89.
