Biographical History

Gayne Rescher (1924-2008) was a cinematographer.

Gayne Rescher was born on December 19, 1924 in New York, to cinematographer Jay Rescher and silent film actress Jean Tolley. He served as a fighter pilot in World War II, and then went to the American Theater School in New York. He was married three times. He won three Emmy awards for Lucky/Chances (1991), Moviola (1980), and Shooter (1989). Rescher died on February 29, 2008.
