Verl I. Mumford (1929-2016) was an accountant from Montpelier, Idaho.

Verl Mumford was born on January 24, 1929 in Montpelier, Idaho, where he grew up. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Northern States Mission in Minnesota, where he met Colleen Kay Hutchins. He graduated from Brigham Young University in Accounting, and lived in Montepelier and San Francisco. He married Irene Muir in 1958. Verl died in Vernal, Utah on July 17, 2016 and is buried in Montpelier, Idaho.
