Biographical History

G. C. Richard Galloway (1918-2005) was a World War II veteran from Idaho.

George Curtis Richard Galloway was born on January 28, 1918 in Shelley, Idaho to George Curtis Galloway and Sarah Ann Maples. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Alabama and South Carolina. On June 2, 1942, he was drafted into the military and volunteered as a flight engineer on a B-17. After his military service he married Lois LaRue Brown in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 25, 1945. Together they had five children.

Later in life the Galloways served missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah, Missouri, New Zealand, and Niue. G. C. Richard Galloway died on July 25, 2005 in Meridian, Idaho.
