Biographical History

Camille Fronk Olson is a professor of religion and writer in Utah.

Camille Fronk Olson was born and raised in Tremonton, Utah. She received her bachelor's degree in Education, master's degree in Ancient Near Eastern Studies, and a Ph.D in Sociology of the Middle East all from Brigham Young University. Her dissertation focused on Palestinian families in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Camille Frank Olson married Paul F. Olson. Olson taught institute and seminary in the Salt Lake area before becoming the Dean of Students at LDS Business College. Olson began teaching at Brigham Young Univeristy and is now the chair of the Department of Ancient Scripture. Olson has published many religious books through Desert Book including Women of the Old Testament; In the Hands of the Potter; Mary, Martha, and Me; and Too Much to Carry Alone.
