Biographical History

Stephen G. Wood (born 1941) was a professor of law at the J. Reuben Clark Law School of Brigham Young University.

Stephen G. Wood graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor's in 1966 and finished a Juris Doctor in 1969. Wood completed a Juridicial Science Degree from Colombia Law University in 1980. Wood married Mary Anne Quinn and they had five children together. Wood was a lawyer in New York, Washington D.C., and in Utah as well as being chair of the Utah Administrative Law Advisory Committee. He also was a professor of law at BYU's J. Reuben Clark Law School from 1976 to 2010. During that time as a professor, Wood was Associate Dean for the Law School from 1979 to 1981.
