Dorothy Toone Cook (b. 1928) a member of the John Toone family organization.
Dorothy Toone was born in 1928 to Frank Wilford Toone and Rose Ella Parker. She was raised in Croyden, Utah, and married Harvey Lyman Cook in 1947. She and her husband then moved to Ogden, Utah. Dorothy has been active in family history work, and edited the missionary journal of her great-great-grandfather, John Toone.

Describes his experiences as a missionary in England from May 8, 1854-April 29, 1856; the last few days of his journal describe when he entered the Salt Lake Valley, August 31-September 13, 1852. Contains a biographical sketch, a paper on John Toone and his music, and a history of Croydon, Utah, which Toone helped settle, written by decendants of John Toone.
