Scott W. Bullock served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Japan where he experienced the large-scale earthquake that ocurred in 2011.

Scott W. Bullock was serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Tokyo, Japan on March 11, 2011 when the bicycles that he and his companion were riding began to swerve uncontrollably. They experienced one of the most destructive earthquakes in Japan's history and were witnesses of the aftermath and longer-term effects of the earthquake, tsunami and subsequent nuclear power plant leaks.

Bullock resides in Utah.
