Barney Argyle (1922-2013) served in the military during World War II.

Barney Argely was born March 1, 1922 in Lake Shore, the youngest son of Dell Vernon Argyle and Nettie Barney. He entered the military during World War II in the European Theater as part of the Fourth Armoured Division. Barney married Ruth Lillian Hawkins on June 28, 1945. Together they had two daughters, Joyce and Karla. Barney died on September 21, 2013.
