June E. and Maida Russell Moody collection, 1810-1985 (Harold Russell; b. Aug. 14, 1882, in Provo, Utah; parents, Alonzo Russell and Mary Elizabeth Hardy Russell; m. Mary Emily Gifford in St. George, Utah, Dec. 17, 1902; m. Partha Annn Gubler in 1931; during their early married life, the Russells worked as farmers, growing their own food, and merchants, selling food to other families for a profit; musician and would play the music at weddings and dances; he and his wife moved to Springdale; successfully petitioned the local school boards to build Springdale's first high school; chairman of the citizens committee and a notary public in Springdale; 1920-1943, park ranger in Zion National Park; World War II, worked at Topaz War Relocation Center; divorced his second wife; d. Mar. 12, 1952 in Los Angeles, Calif.)
