Biographical History

Brent K. Campbell (1927-) is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, musician, composer, and professor emeritus of music at Southern Utah University.

Brent K. Campbell was born in 1927. He earned a Bachelor and Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Utah in 1951 and 1958. Afterward he earned a PhD from Brigham Young University in 1977. He is married to Joan D. Campbell, who also shares in a love for music. Together they have written the text and composed the music for some primary songs. Dr. Campbell taught music history, theory, composition, and piano at Southern Utah State College in Cedar City, Utah.
