Ernest Harrison Quayle (1891-1956) was a geologist.

Ernest Harrison "Pat" Quayle was born on May 9, 1891 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ernest and Julia Ann (Young) Quayle. Quayle served in the United States Marine Corps from April 14, 1917 to January 27, 1919, rising to the rank of 1st Sergeant. Quayle was a graduate of Stanford University with a degree in geology. During his professional career he worked for the Saudi-Arabian Oil Company. During the 1920s, Quayle made four scientific expeditions to the Tahitian Islands. He died on September 16, 1956 in San Mateo, California.
