Biographical History

T.C. Christensen (born 1953) is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and filmmaker living in Utah.

He was born in 1953 and grew up in Layton, Utah. He studied filmmaking at Brigham Young University and at the University of Utah. He has made many films about the prophet Joseph Smith and has made many other films associated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the West.

Contains shooting scripts, reel-to-reel tapes, VHS tapes, and DVDs of T. C. Christensen's various films and projects including, "Only a Stonecutter," "17 Miracles," and "Ephraim's Rescue." Films and projects were produced mainly in Utah and relate especially to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its history. Dated 1975-2013.

Scope and Contents

Contents include a VHS videocassette and a sixteen millimeter film reel of the film "Elaine Dart: Not Like Other People." The film was directed by T.C. Christensen and produced by BYU Motion Picture Studio. The film is a documentary on the life of Elaine Dart's who dealt with cerebral palsy. Over time she learned to use her feet to accomplish such intricate tasks as threading a needle, stringing beads, and knitting. The film is thirteen minutes long and dated 1975.
