Biographical History

Mary LaReal Jones Mitchell (1892-1993) was a school teacher in Utah.

Mary LaReal Jones Mitchell was born in 1892 in Provo, Utah. She stayed in Provo, attending school throughout her youth. In July 1927, at age 29 LaReal left for a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Eastern States. In 1927, a few years after the completion of her mission, she married Charles W. Mitchell. They built a family of three children in Provo, Utah. She contributed to her community through the Church, especially in the Young Women's program, until her death in 1993.
