Harold J. Anderson (1923-2014) was a veteran, BYU employee and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Harold J. Anderson was born on June 16, 1923 to Harold Domgaard Anderson and Catherine Thomas Anderson in Elsinore, Utah. Harold grew up in Provo, Utah. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1942-1946. He graduated from BYU in 1947 and married Gloria Singleton on June 11, 1947, with whom he had four children.

Harold worked as a supervisor for Utah Construction Company. He also served on the Provo Metropolitan Water Board, as president of the Provo Kiwanis Club, and as chairman of the Provo City Planning Commission. He worked for BYU for thirty years directing campus planning and development, for which he received the Ben E. Lewis Management Award. Harold also served in many callings for the Church throughout his life. Harold died on March 10, 2014 in Provo, Utah.
