Biographical History

C.L. Joy (1869-1943) was a photographer in Utah.

C.L. Joy was born in 1869 in Fairburry Illinois. He was a partner in the firm Hinshaw and Joy Photographers of Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Ellen Drew Forbes in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1912, and together they had four children. C.L. Joy died in Salt Lake City in 1943.
