Feremorz Little Young was a cadet at the U. S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and a son of Brigham Young, second president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Scope and Contents

Handwritten and bound diary. Young talks about his journey to Mexico and his cultural and religious experiences there while serving there. Young became ill on his mission and died at sea on his way back to Utah. He was buried at sea off the coast of Florida.

Handwritten and signed letter, dated 27 Feb. 1874, and addressed to Brigham Young. Feremorz writes about personal metters. Also included is a report card dated 20 June 1876 and listing Feremorz's standing at the academy.
