Biographical History
Marilyn Arnold (born November 26, 1935) is an English professor in Utah and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Marilyn Arnold was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Brigham Young University, and earned a Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a leading scholar on work of Willa Cather. Prior to joining the faculty at Brigham Young University, she was a professor at Weber State University. She also served as head of the Center for the Study of Christian Values in Literature at BYU.
