Biography

Joyce Baggerly is an Accredited Genealogist and veteran.

Joyce Baggerly grew up in Indiana. She was introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while serving in the Marines, and she joined the Church in 1960. Joyce was interested in family stories from a young age and started doing family history research four months after joining the Church. She is an Accredited Genealogist who has published many articles across over fifty years of doing genealogy. She also served as secretary of the BYU English department from 1989-2002. Joyce lives in Provo, Utah.
