Andrew J. Russell (1829-1902) was an American photographer.

Andrew Joseph ("A. J.") Russell was born March 20, 1829 in New Hampshire to John Russell and Harriet Robinson Russell. He is well-known for his work photographing the American Civil War and the Union Pacific Railroad. He died September 22, 1902 in New York.
