Biographical History

Milton Gardner Widdison was born August 22, 1916 in Hooper, Utah to a family of eleven children. He graduated from Weber High School and University of Utah. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corp during the Great Depression and in the German-Austrian mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1935 to 1938. He then served as a chaplain during World War II for the United States Army, stationed in Hawaii, Okinawa, and Korea. Milt continued in the Army Reserve after returning home and eventually and retired as a lieutenant colonel in 1976.
