Biographical History

Henry Pearson (1839-1914) was a Swedish immigrant to Draper, Utah. Henry Pearson was born in Malma, Vastmanland, Sweden on the June 8th, 1839, to Ola Pehrsson and Anna Andersdotter. Pearson's mother died in childbirth, and he and his twin sister were taken in by a Swedish nobleman and his family. Pearson was converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of seventeen, along with his sister and father, and he was baptized on September 23, 1856. Pearson emigrated to the United States in 1862. Henry Pearson married Sarah Martisha Allen on March 7, 1868, and had nine children, eight of which lived to adulthood. Sarah Pearson died on February 28, 1901, and Henry Pearson was remarried to Marie Jorgenson on September 1, 1905. Henry Pearson died on the July 27, 1914, in Draper, Utah.
