Collection contains the autobiography of Joseph Parry, a transcript of the journal of John Parry, and photocopies of miscellaneous articles on Joseph Parry and the Fort Lemhi and Salmon River Mission. Joseph Parry's autobiography covers the period 1837 to 1855, including a description of his mother's death, his conversion to Mormonism, an incomplete account of his mission to the Salmon River Valley and the construction of Fort Lemhi, and his later settlement in Ogden, Utah.
