Contains diazo copy negatives of photographs taken by Harris of the university campus and events, the Harris family, and agricultural photographs from Utah and Idaho.

Contains contact prints of Harris' travels to Iran, as well as images of the Harris family and of Brigham Young University. Photographs date from between 1939 and 1941.

Includes correspondence, mementoes, published writings, unpublished writings, addresses, notes, scrapbooks, diaries, letters, and photograph albums created by members of the Harris family between 1818 and 1969. The majority of the materials document the life of Franklin S. Harris. Also includes personal writings by Dennison Emer Harris, and materials belonging to Emer Harris.

Collection includes nine photographs of descendants and items relating to Martin Harris (1783-1875).
