Barrett, and correspondence, newspaper clippings, a camera, and other artifacts collected by Barrett during his service as a photographer in the Army Air Corps in the Occupational Army stationed in Japan. He acheived the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Materials consist of military orders, photographs, news articles, scrapbooks, maps, and other materials from his time stationed in Greenland, Germany, and the United States.
