The Department of Health and Safety Education (1960-1970) was an instructional unit at Brigham Young University. The unit provided courses in health science and drivers education.

The Department of Health and Safety Education was established in 1960 as part of the College of Physical Education. In 1970, its name was changed to the Department of Health Sciences.

The department chair was Ray Watters (1960-1970).
