The Oakland California Temple (dedicated 1964) is a temple operated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Oakland, California.

Plans for the construction of the Oakland Temple in Oakland, California were announced on January 23, 1961. Groundbreaking occurred on May 26, 1962, and the cornerstone was laid on May 25, 1963. On November 19, 1964, David O. McKay dedicated the temple. The temple's architect was Harold W. Burton, who designed the exterior walls of the temple with white granite and two decorative friezes on the north and south walls. The temple sits prominently atop an Oakland hill and features views of the Bay Area, including downtown Oakland, the Bay Bridge, Yerba Buena Island, downtown San Francisco, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
